Affiliate Disclosure

Summary: BetView earns commissions when you sign up to a bookmaker via our links. This is how we fund the site. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not influence our editorial ratings or reviews. We only list bookmakers that are fully licensed and regulated in Australia.
1. What Is an Affiliate Relationship?
BetView participates in affiliate marketing programmes with certain Australian licensed bookmakers. When you click a referral link or use a referral code on this site and subsequently create an account with that bookmaker, BetView may receive a commission payment from the bookmaker. The commission is paid by the bookmaker and does not increase the cost to you in any way.
2. Which Bookmakers Have Affiliate Arrangements?
Bookmakers listed as "Recommended" on BetView may have current affiliate arrangements. Not all bookmakers listed on BetView are affiliate partners. Our full list of bookmakers is available on the Bookmakers page. Referral codes, where displayed, are provided by the bookmaker and are only shown to eligible visitors in compliance with applicable Australian state and territory advertising laws.
3. Does This Affect Our Editorial Independence?
No. Our ratings, reviews, and editorial analysis are based solely on our independent assessment of each bookmaker's features, markets, odds, payout speed, customer service, and responsible gambling tools. Affiliate commissions do not influence ratings, rankings, or the inclusion or exclusion of any bookmaker from our site.
We reserve the right to remove or downgrade any bookmaker that does not meet our standards, regardless of any affiliate arrangement.
4. Licensed Operators Only
BetView only lists bookmakers that hold a current Australian wagering licence issued by an Australian state or territory racing authority. We do not list or link to unlicensed offshore gambling operators. If you are unsure whether a bookmaker is licensed, you can check the ACMA register of licensed interactive wagering providers.
5. Advertising Laws and Inducements
Advertising inducements (such as referral codes and sign-up offers) to residents of New South Wales (NSW) is prohibited under the Betting and Racing Act 1998 (NSW). BetView uses geolocation technology to prevent referral codes from being displayed to visitors accessing the site from NSW IP addresses.
Other states and territories may have additional restrictions. It is your responsibility to ensure any offer you act on is available and legal in your state or territory.
6. No Financial or Betting Advice
Nothing on BetView constitutes financial advice, betting advice, or a recommendation to place any wager. All tips, analysis, and market commentary are editorial opinions only. You are solely responsible for your own betting decisions and any resulting losses.
